My honeymoon

My honeymoon

Im finally back after a long break away from blogging since the brake i got married on the 27 May and two days later i went on my honeymoon we went to the Maldives. When we was deciding on where to go we had a few ideas in mind but also knew we really wanted to go somewhere that we could just relax and not do anything there was one place in both of our minds at that was the Maldives. After looking online we knew we wanted it to be tailor made as it was our honeymoon after searching we found the perfect site its called holidayplease (which i will link) we had Tanya who we have now decided that if we are doing a long haul flight we will go with them. They made everything so easy for us from who we fly with to the hotel and the things we wanted which was a water bungalow normally are ant that fussy but seeing as it was our honeymoon we wanted something really private and easy access to the sea. We flew from London Gatwich to Dubai which was around 9 hours then we did Dubai to Male which was around 4 hours then we did a speed boat to the island which was 25 to 30 minutes.

What we got was that and so much more we cant believe how amazing everything was and how much of a good job they did we flew with Emirates we left London Gatwick and had a 9 hour flight to Dubai and then a 4 hour flight to Male the capital of the Maldives and then a 25 minute boat ride to our island we was staying at which was the Cinnamon Dhonveil (which i will also link).

We stayed here for two weeks we stayed in a  water bungalow it was the best thing we have ever done it was perfect they have two restaurants and depending on where your are on the island you will be told which one you will be eating at and the other good thing is you have one table for the whole holiday they have your room number it is such hassle free and made everything just easy didn't have to try and find a table just that will extra bit just made it more special.

We didn't take any coral shoes with us which was a big mistake we both did get cut me on my foot and Chris on his back and it bloody hurt which was a shame because down from our water bungalow there was a lot of coral but we did fine we was just very careful lucky the beach was fine. We also took our underwater camera which was the best thing we ever did and we got so many pictures that are amazing. we also took our big camera to get most of the pictures as well as ours phones so we have a lot of pictures to go though but thats what you want on a honeymoon.

We went for the all inclusive package and we did get a few free things to go on our booking we got to use the mini fridge and a romantic dinner on the beach they also offed us two excursion o go on but with how hot and humid it was we didn't bother going there was one we was looking at which was the swimming with turtles but they wasn't doing that one for some reason so we didn't bother with any other. They also have over water suites which are getting remodeled and when they are finished they will have there own beach and pool to themselves they also have there own restaurant. There wasn't any noise which was lovely as thats not really what you want.

I could go on for days how amazing the Maldives was but unless you have been your cant realise how special this places is. It was really hard to only pictures for this blog as i didn't want to over load the blog.
